Seller Rules
These demonstration terms must be professionally reviewed before public launch.
Seller rules for Laa Marketplace will be published before public launch. This demonstration version allows sellers to list products locally for testing purposes only.
Reservation payment and commission
When a buyer reserves your item, the reservation fee is calculated from your product category and current commission plan. It is deducted from the selling price shown on your listing. You must confirm the commission preview before publishing. Commission is earned after the buyer completes collection with the correct code. Minimum and maximum fees may apply.
Inspection before acceptance
Allow buyers reasonable time to inspect the item. Only accept the collection code after the buyer has inspected and accepted the product.
Private seller transactions
If you list as a private seller, buyers are informed that return rights may differ from business sales. You must describe items honestly and disclose known faults.
Business seller responsibilities
Business sellers must meet applicable consumer law obligations, including accurate descriptions, safe products, and fair handling of returns where statutory rights apply.
Returns
When a return is approved, you will receive the product back and enter the buyer's return code only after you have received the item. Do not ask for the return code before receipt.
Refunds
Refunds may be approved where the item was misrepresented, faulty, unsafe or otherwise not as described. Change-of-mind requests on correctly described private sales may be rejected.
Disputes
Respond to buyer disputes promptly through My Account. You may accept a return, offer a partial refund, or reject a request with an explanation. Upload evidence where helpful. Buyer contact details beyond the marketplace profile are not shown in dispute views.
Commission treatment
Commission may be protected when a valid private-sale dispute is rejected, or refunded when a refund is approved due to seller misrepresentation. Existing reservations keep the commission recorded when they were created. Final legal documents require professional review before public launch.
Sellers must provide accurate descriptions, declare known faults, and meet buyers safely for inspection and collection.
